Catherine offers different routes to suit different student’s needs:
Self-directed
This is an increasingly popular route for families who want to prepare at home without the regular help of tutor, but would like support via a programme of study. Catherine sets the programme of study, holds a session to introduce it and then another to provide feedback and targets. Following the ISEB assessment itself, additional sessions can be booked for creative writing and Interview preparation depending on the requirements of the individual Senior School assessment.
Premium
This is Catherine’s most popular route. It has room for deepening learning due to it being an open-ended number of sessions, although Catherine will provide an overview of how many she thinks will be required to work towards individual assessments. This approach would suit those who would like to work on their overall skill set in English rather than the tuition be purely assessment focused. This approach would also suit parents looking for additional support with the Senior School journey as the relationship is ongoing so there is continued support throughout.
Elevation
These are for students looking for a ‘short sharp burst’ of standalone sessions prior to an assessment. They can work well for students who are self-motivated and need an injection of personalised learning before an exam.
