Catherine is an experienced teacher and tutor. She worked at a top Prep School in Oxford for nearly 10 years and a leading Prep School in the South West prior to that so has a comprehensive understanding of the Prep School world. Catherine set up Catherine Brereton Tutoring in 2018 with the motivation to transfer the skills and expertise that she acquired over her time in the classroom to individual lessons to enhance students’ experience and expertise in the subject, and has been delighted with the results ever since. Catherine enjoys a raft of successes each year with multiple entries into top Independent Schools and is able to transform a student’s confidence within themselves and the subject in a matter of sessions.
Catherine has been working with Oxford families for 17 years and knows the landscape well in terms of schools, lifestyle and what families are looking for. She continues to have strong links with both Prep and Independent Schools and is fully abreast of developments as and when they arise.
